/  THROUGH WOMEN'S EYES

Artistic approach:

This series of paintings addresses the struggles that women face in today's society. The artist echoes the book "Sorcières" (witches) which refers to the persecution that men imposed on female gender for centuries. Through her works, Mokosh expresses herself with no filter or glove, but above all, she shares the energy that overwhelms every woman today. " Women are still suffering from the same persecutions that we thought would be over in 2022. But it is not, these persecutions exist more than ever and they happen through small deeds, through physical but also psychological violence. Most of the time, they are kept silent."

This work seeks to shed light on the dark areas, but also and above all, to give strength to women who are sometimes just waiting for a spark to relight their inner flame and find the courage to challenge those who would like to force them back onto the pyre.
